Certificates (CD)

Why Certificate?

CDs are among the safest investments a person can make. The interest rate is determined ahead of time, and you’re guaranteed to get back what you put in, plus interest once the CD matures. What’s more, if something happens to UTFCU, your deposit is insured by the FDIC for up to $250,000.

12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months – $1000 minimum
Early withdrawal penalty 12, 24, 36 month= 90 days dividends, 48, 60 month = 180 days dividends

IRA Certificates

12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months – $2000 minimum

Club Savings Account

What is a Club Savings Account?

When you want to save for a special occasion, vacation or holiday shopping, a Club Account may be right for you. You deposit money in the account during the year and you choose the date when to receive the funds annually. You can receive the proceeds for the amount in the account by check or have the funds deposited into a UTFCU checking account. The choice is yours!

  • $100 minimum, $10.00 annual fee, <$500 balance
  • $25.00 early withdrawal fee
