We are pleased to announce that we will be awarding up to $5,000 in college scholarships to UT Federal Credit Union Members! 1st place will win $3,000, 2nd place will win $1,500 and 3rd place will win $500.
To qualify for scholarship eligibility, the applicant must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a primary member on UTFCU account (at time of application)
- Account must be in good standing
- Must be graduating from high school in 2018 or have graduated from high school within the past three years.
- Must be planning to pursue an undergraduate education at least part-time.
- Must complete the scholarship application and essay by the given deadline.
Please complete the following scholarship package for consideration:
A completed application form along with an essay of 500 words or less typed and double-spaced in response to the following question,
“Describe a current event and propose the solutions you would suggest to improve or resolve the current issue, such as the economy, discrimination, bullying, or another topic of your choice.”
Essays will be judged on grammar, originality, attention to detail and specific examples.

In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must ensure that the completed scholarship package is received or postmarked to UTFCU by Friday, March 16, 2018. Faxed or e-mailed materials will NOT be accepted. The scholarships will awarded at our Annual Meeting on Friday April 20, 2018.
